Cuff Love

When traveling around the United States, or even the world, everyone always buys souvenirs. Rather than buying the typical tourist "gift shop" items, buy something that you will keep forever.

I'm loving cuff bracelets right now and luckily enough, some of my cuffs have great stories behind them, and are souvenirs from my travels. Although my first bracelet doesn't have much of a story, it's still one of my favorites.

This gold, flower cuff is from Stella & Dot and can either be dressed up or down. I bought this in college for myself, and I love its versatility. I even bought matching, chandelier earrings to go with it. By the way, Stella & Dot is featuring, Top 50 Under 50 right now. Great jewelry for great prices!

I bought this next cuff in Florence, Italy last summer. I lived in an apartment on Borgo San Lorenzo right next to the historic, Duomo. There was a daily, outdoor market set up right next to our apartment, selling purses, jewelry, clothing and fruit. I love the colorful stones on this cuff, and cherish it even more that it resembles my amazing time abroad.

Taos, New Mexico has to be one of my favorite places to visit. It never gets old. About 2 years ago my boyfriend and I went skiing for the weekend, and spent an afternoon shopping. I saw this gold and silver cuff at a jewelry store in the town square, and immediately knew I had to have it. I love that it's from one of my favorite places, and that someone special bought it for me.

The last item, is a necklace that has that "cuff" appearance. I bought this from a vintage store, called Broomhilda's, in Lubbock, Texas and I love it. The two, young women that own the store said they purchased it from an estate sale and that I had to buy it. What a fun job, right? It's sophisticatication and style makes it one of those pieces you know you'll wear for many years to come.

    Happy Wednesday, everyone! :)
